Problems installing HP Laserjet P1005 HELP!!!?
I tried to install my new HP LaserJet 1005 and as I don’t have the CD, I downloaded the driver and software from the HP website. Yet when I try to install it , it says that there’s a certain “P1006CLP.dll” file missing. I tried to look online for it but haven’t found a thing. I am sure I did everything right and I didn’t connect the USB until it told me so. so what’s the problem and where do I get this file ?
Actually I am pretty sure that I downloaded the right driver for Windows XP.
And the program you recommended requires registration.

Re-download the driver make sure you choose the correct operating system you are using. Uninstall the drivers you installed previously. Then reinstall the new driver you downloaded
